Stephanie Caldwell was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she and her family enjoyed life in the Windy City until they moved to Louisville in 1987. She attended The University of Kentucky and was on the Deans List all four years, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Communications, summa cum laude, in 2001. While attending UK, she was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. She attended The University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, and earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2006. While attending U of L, Stephanie traveled to Oxford, England to attend St. Anne’s College, The University of Oxford, for a semester of law school course work.

Prior to joining O’Bryan, Brown & Toner, Stephanie worked as a staff attorney in Jefferson County Circuit Court from 2006-2009. She is a certified mediator, a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County, and a participant in the 2009 Louisville Bar Association Leadership Academy.

When she’s not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and friends.
