ALLISON GRANT MENISH is licensed in both Indiana and Kentucky. After Allison graduated from the University of Virginia, she worked full-time at the Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Mayor’s Office while attending her first two years of law school at the University of Louisville. Following graduation, she was a legal intern for Justice William E. McAnulty, Jr., of the Supreme Court of Kentucky. Allison is an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association, serving on the Casemaker Improvement and Public Affairs Committees. Allison volunteers in both her native and adopted communities. From 2008 to 2011, she served on the Louisville-Jefferson County Police Merit Board. She currently volunteers for the Kentucky Derby and Breeder’s Cup Host Programs and the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.
Allison’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation and appellate practice in the areas of insurance and medical malpractice defense, nursing home defense, personal injury, premises and products liability and workplace and employment matters. She has successfully defended professional negligence claims in both the state and federal courts, as well as in multiple administrative agencies and professional licensure boards. Her past clients include government agencies, hospitals, health facilities, nursing homes and long term care facilities, as well as individuals and medical professionals of diverse specialties (medical technicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physicians, physician’s assistants, and hospital administrators).
