
JOSEPH P. MANKOVICH was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting. And he earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was an editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and was named Most Outstanding Third-Year Staff Editor. Before joining O’Bryan, Brown & Toner, Joey spent several years working for other respected defense firms in Louisville, where his work was primarily focused on medical-malpractice defense, nursing-home defense, and appeals. Before then, he worked as a judicial law clerk for former Deputy Chief Justice Mary Noble of the Kentucky Supreme Court. At OBT, his primary areas of practice remain medical-malpractice defense, nursing-home defense, and appellate work.
Joey lives in Louisville with his wife, Paige. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his two dogs, Tutti and Trapper. He is also a member of the Derby City Curling Club. And he cheers for the Wildcats, Gamecocks, and Chelsea FC.
