David Strite successfully defended a driver in a motor vehicle negligence lawsuit in Barren County Circuit Court, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Plaintiff alleged that she required spine surgery, right rotator cuff surgery, and suffered from debilitating headaches as a result of the motor vehicle accident. Plaintiff asked the jury for $1.3 million for past medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost wages. Strite defended against Plaintiff’s allegations and established that the vast majority of her medical care after the accident was not related to the accident. The jury awarded the Plaintiff just over $2,000 after deliberating for a little over an hour.
