John Shockley received a very thorough opinion and order granting a motion for summary judgment regarding a very tricky homeowners’ coverage question.  The case involved a problematic bit of precedent that Mr. Shockley distinguished, and the Court agreed.  The opinion reduced exposure and resulted in dismissal of the bad faith part of the plaintiffs’ complaint.
