James Grohmann obtained summary judgment on behalf of a local attorney, who was sued for legal malpractice.  The claim against the attorney was based on his alleged failure to release a property lien that had been satisfied.  The delay in releasing the lien led to another lawsuit over statutory damages flowing from the lien.  James moved to dismiss on the ground that the one-year statute of limitations had expired.  The court agreed, and the case was dismissed with prejudice.
