James Grohmann successfully defended a Louisville general practitioner against charges that a delayed diagnosis led to a melanoma advancing from easily curable stage I to an incurable metastatic stage 4.  The defense centered on the unique aggressiveness of the melanoma at issue, which rendered it most difficult to diagnose at early stages.
