MATTHEW GORE was born and raised in West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He earned his Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law. He joined O’Bryan, Brown & Toner as an associate attorney in 2022 after working as an associate at a regional defense firm.

Matthew is licensed to practice in Kentucky. His primary areas of practice include insurance defense litigation with a focus on car accident defense and premises liability defense. In his role as second chair he participates in motion practice, drafts pleadings and discovery, consults with experts, and covers depositions.

Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, traveling, and cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
