ALEX DRURY was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Transylvania University, where he worked on several pieces of state education legislation with the Kentucky Student Rights Coalition. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Alex served as an Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and as an officer for the Federalist Society and Christian Legal Society. Alex joined O’Bryan, Brown, & Toner as a summer law clerk in 2024 and began practicing with the firm in 2025. His primary area of practice is insurance defense litigation with a focus on medical malpractice.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys listening to jazz music with his fiancé, working in historical preservation, and conducting archival research. He also runs The 36th Division Archive, a historical project of the U.S. Army’s 36th Infantry Division.
