LUKE POWELL is from Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics, where he double majored in Marketing and Management and earned Departmental Honors in both fields. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Luke was a member of the Business Law Society and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Luke joined O’Bryan, Brown & Toner as a summer law clerk in 2025 and began practicing with the firm in 2026. His primary area of practice is insurance defense litigation, including medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and other civil litigation matters. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
